Over 1,600 units of housing, as well as open space, retail and historic preservation are planned in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley, along the Bayshore Freeway. The project, which occupies the former site of the Schlage Lock Company and part of a Southern Pacific Rail Yard, will be developed by San Francisco’s Universal Paragon Corp. Van Meter Williams Pollack has done a significant amount of the up-front design and planning to date.
