Google Betting on $600M in Small Properties

The Contra Costa Times reports, via ENR California, that Google is buying up hundreds of millions of dollars worth of small commercial office buildings throughout Silicon Valley. With 24 of these buildings alone in Mountain View, it may be that Google is betting on zoning and height restrictions loosening up in the coming years so that they can expand these properties by as much as 2 million square feet of office space.
