The Oakland Unified School District is soliciting development proposals for its 1025 2nd Avenue headquarters site. The former District Administration building and its Annex, now vacant and beyond repair, will be demolished, and the adjoining Dewey High School will be moved off site, in order for the District to provide a potential developer with a clean, graded parcel. Proposals are due August 15 at 2pm, with a preproposal meeting set for August 1st.
